Digital Backend Design Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
1. High-performance modules floorplan, place, CTS, route;
2. Parasitic parameter extraction, DRC/LVS inspection, dummy metal generation, STA analysis, IR/EM drop analysis, etc.;
3. Whole chip floorplan planning and module division.
4. Complete the physical realization of the digital circuit from the SOC top level or module gate level netlist to GDSOUT;
5. Evaluation of process library and EDA tools;
6. Use c-shell/Python/tcl and other languages to write programs to assist the automation process;
7. Power consumption analysis, etc.
Qualifications:
1. Have basic knowledge of integrated circuit design and technology;
2. Familiar with digital back-end layout and routing, clock tree synthesis, parasitic parameter extraction, timing analysis, signal integrity analysis, power consumption and voltage drop analysis, physical verification and other design processes;
3. Familiar with back-end related EDA tools such as Synopsys/Cadence
4. Familiar with the chip low-power design process;
5. Experience in 16nm, 28nm, 40nm and other process design is preferred;
6. Familiar with Linux operating system, familiar with c-shell, tcl, perl and other programming languages, and can use it proficiently to assist design and development;
7. Have good communication, learning ability and teamwork spirit.
8. Proficient in using IC Compiler, Starrc, Prime Time, Calibre, Milkyway, Prime Rail and other EDA tools;
9. Familiar with TCL language, shell language, Python language;
10. Familiar with SDC, familiar with SOC architecture and floorplan, and familiar with the preparation of ICC database;
11. Bachelor degree or above, more than one year related industry experience.
